Once a week?!?
House to house?!
Is this message important or not?
You will teach us all together and every day!
I first heard the beginning of the Bisorio story shortly after Bob and George told their story to NTM missionaries at a “worker’s conference”. It encouraged me and I passed on the recordings to other people who also pursued serving in missionary aviation.
Years later it was my privilege to serve the Bisorio people and the missionaries who served them. I recorded the photo below during one of those visits.
It has been very exciting to see the faith of the Bisorio people as they worked to proclaim the glory of God to every village of their own people and the language groups of people as far as they have been able to reach.
The greatest benefit to me has been hearing how the Gospel was presented to the Bisorio people.
The foundational Bible teaching method of presenting God’s word to the Bisorio people transformed my own understanding of God and His purpose in the world. Now, through the recordings below, you can hear what I heard as you follow the Bisorio story.

The Bisorio story. (Also on Amazon Kindle.)
Bob Kennell gives his story about working with the Bisorio people.
After months of teaching foundational Bible, stories they presented the Good News about Jesus. The next day Haribaio and three others demanded some answers. “How long have the people in your country known this message? How long has this message been in the country of Papua New Guinea? How long has your mission group been in this Sepik Region? Why is it that you are just coming now to bring this message to us?”

Answer to Each Stick. The man who brought the sticks perished when he hardened his heart and set up boundaries to prevent the message from being delivered. His village was in a difficult location to reach. Below is part of the story of how the Gospel was brought to his village.
“They taught them and presented the Gospel. And it’s not a super large group–25 people, but out of that group 19 of them made a very solid profession of faith in Jesus Christ,” said Kennell. https://www.mnnonline.org/news/tribe-accepts-christ-turn-from-false-god/
