About stilluntold.org

We launched as Send100 campaign to help our supporters, and churches to whom we minister, understand what we are doing and why.

Please pray for laborers and wisdom to communicate well.

Send 100 was about sending

  • 100 missionaries with
  • 100 supporters to
  • 100 tribes

of people who have never heard of Jesus.

We have the same objective, but StillUntold.org is a name that better shows our objective of telling untold language groups of people about Jesus Christ; His person, purpose, plan, people and processes.

Yana* was 15 when missionaries came to his village. All of the men and teenage boys in his village had put someone to death. Many women and children in his language group had been sent to eternity by them and more were always in danger. They believed that witchcraft is the cause of all illness and death. When anyone died the responsible witch had be found and given the death sentence. They told each other, “If only we can remove all of the witches then we will all live forever!” They believed that witches live inside women and children to come out at night and put deadly spells on people. The women and children lived in fear of the men who lived in fear of the evil spirits and witches. Who would be next?

The truth of God’s Word is changing the thinking of Yana* and his people. The Bible tells us that all life is precious to God and that death is a consequence of sin and judgment, not a result of witchcraft. Jesus paid the penalty for sin, delivered us from the power of sin and provided for us a future without sin and death. Hope and life are found in Jesus, not in ending the lives of other people. Forgiveness and peace are found in believing Him. Because a team of Christians cared to teach God’s Word to his people Yana* has a reliable hope rooted in the truth about Jesus.

Effective faith comes by hearing the Word of God which is spoken by messengers who are sent.(Romans 10:13-17)

About a third of the world, including 2,500 distinct tribes or people groups, have no access to God’s Word or a Christian who could tell them of Jesus in a language they understand. Obstacles of remote locations, unwritten languages, unknown cultures, translation of scripture passages and Bible lesson preparation must be overcome to communicate a clear Gospel message. Only Jesus has satisfied the wrath of the Father against our sin and provided for us to be clothed in His perfect righteousness. Only by faith in Him may we stand in the presence of the perfect Holy God forever. These unreached language groups will not hear the message of the Good News about Jesus until Christians intentionally train, equip, support and send someone to tell them.

As His final instructions Jesus told His followers, “All power (authority) in heaven and earth has been given unto me … therefore go and teach all nations (ethnic groups) … to observe everything I commanded you.” (See Matthew 28:18-20.)

Have we not reached every tribe because too few of us have heard the message? Is it because we do not understand the command?

There are about 141,000** Bible-believing Christians for every unreached tribe. There are more than enough Christians to reach every unreached people group of our generation. We have more tools and resources than any previous generation.

Is the Word of God enough to move us? Is simple obedience enough? Do we need further revelation to know God’s will? Do we need a “call” or a “sign” too?

This Send 100 endeavor is about communicating God’s Word to Christians concerning His eternal purpose for believers and the plight of the unreached tribes for whom Christ died and rose again. It is about helping Christians invest in the lives of people who have no hope because they have not heard the truth. We need to get the message out about the glory of God, spreading His fame to every tribe on earth and living to invest for eternity. We need to share about the desperate condition of the unreached tribes who can be freed when we deliver God’s message. With more resources we can more effectively communicate our message through currently available media and events to reach more of the Christians who might respond to reach the unreached.

By connecting with a variety of audiences and working together, we may be able to reach every unreached people group of our generation. See more at stilluntold.org

Many Christians who ended up serving overseas as missionaries started moving in that direction because someone asked them to act – face to face. Send 100 is about enabling mobilizers to go to where Christians congregate and ask people to act.

I was 8 years old when a mission mobilizer came to our house. My family responded in faith to what we heard from God’s Word and began acting on behalf of the unreached tribes. Since then we have cumulatively invested over 125 years of adult missionary service to multiply laborers among the tribes. (It’s not about us, but about Jesus taking ordinary people and multiplying their efforts for His glory.) Many other people have been influenced as each of us have encouraged faith among God’s people through our own ministries. My hope is that every seed of faith we plant among God’s people may sprout and grow exponentially to the declaration of God’s glory among the nations (ethnos). The next seed could be what Saint Patrick was to Europe and the USA, or Hudson Taylor to oriental inland, or David Livingstone to Africa, or Mark Zook to the Mouk people of the Ee-Taow video.

Send 100 is a small start on a HUGE project. Reaching remote tribes is marathon missions. Reaching ALL of the unreached will require long term commitments from a lot of people. Check out Ee-Taow! and Yembiyemi: Unto the Nations on Vimeo.com to see what this is all about.

There are many other people groups like Yana’s* who are waiting to be freed from self-destruction and bondage. They need messengers to deliver the life-saving message about Jesus. When we have sent the first 100 then we will move on to the next 100 until all tribes have been reached.

We believe this work is commissioned on the highest authority in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18-20 …among many other verses along the same theme.)

We want to have a greater part in what God is doing and we need your help to do it! We hope many more people will join us for the declaration of God’s glory among the unreached tribes.

It’s not about us but about the Lamb. He is worthy!
